Idiot steals police car and then causes horror smash while driving backwards

This hapless thief in the USA decided to steal a police car and then crash it, all while driving backwards.

What is it about criminals in the States? They really seem to be a special kind of stupid.

Just for good measure, he then proceeds to ram the stolen police car straight into the other police car that is in pursuit.

We have some helpful advice for him, just in case this ever happens again.

As it’s in the USA, it’s highly likely that the vehicle is an automatic. Therefore, there will be a little stick somewhere with the letters ‘R’ and ‘D.’

Perhaps it’s time to rename ‘Drive’ as ‘Forwards’ to prevent this from happening again.
