A five-year-old boy was left ‘in a pool of blood’ on Friday afternoon in Hull after a cyclist collided with him and reportedly fled the scene.
Little Freddie-Lee Simmons-Fletcher’s parents have angrily described the incident as a ‘hit and run.’

According to a report in the Daily Mail:
Little Freddie-Lee Simmons-Fletcher had been riding home with his three siblings, his mother and her friend, when he was hit by the rider – who was also knocked to the ground.
The youngster was rushed to hospital and new footage now shows the cyclist who knocked into him, fleeing the scene.
Dash-cam footage taken on Friday at around 3.15pm in north Hull shows Freddie-Lee being knocked over.
Daniel Fletcher, 28, said: ‘I’m so angry as a parent about what happened and I can’t believe the man just rode off without helping. It’s a hit and run, no matter whether the accident happened with a car or bike and we’ve reported it to the police.
‘I want the man finding and punishing and I want him to explain how he could a five-year-old boy in a pool of blood like he did. It’s not fair what happened.
‘It’s lucky that Freddie didn’t end up in intensive care with what happened, as it could’ve been so much worse.’
