Police in Essex have been slammed after a man was stopped on the M25 and told to remove an England flag from his vehicle for ‘health and safety’ reasons.
According to 32-year-old father of two Robert Tomlinson from Southend, he was pulled over on Thursday morning.
This was just before he reached the Dartford Crossing, and he said that he was threatened with arrest if he didn’t comply with the traffic officer’s request.
He said, ‘This country has well and truly gone down the toilet now.’
’If I was flying the flag of Wales or ISIS they wouldn’t have said anything at all because they are scared of being called racialist.’
Where’s my freedom of speech?’
