Police who are out on the roads are often told to ‘expect the unexpected,’ and this incident really pushes this theory to the absolute limit.
This video shows police in Essex coming across a fake ambulance vehicle, complete with a so-called ‘Plastic Paramedic’ who seemed to have a whole arsenal of excuses ready.
Unfortunately for him, every one of these excuses were obviously complete and total bollocks, such as ‘I am on my way to the garage to get my indicator repaired’ and ‘I work as an extra on The Bill.’
Perhaps the biggest giveaway was when the officers took a look in the back of the ‘ambulance’ and didn’t spot a single piece of medical equipment.
Fat lot of good he would be at the ‘accident’ that he claimed to be driving to. Take a look at the video below:
Predictably, he got absolutely destroyed in the comments:
So it’s a scambulance.
So, he’s a tv extra and an ambulance technician, who’s going to an accident, with no medical equipment, via the garage to repair an indicator.
£150 and 6 points. It’s a joke.
Super creepy. It makes me afraid that he is trying to target unsuspecting injured people into his van. Very creepy.
