In what has to be one of the most British things y0u will ever see, advanced news of the lorry’s arrival led to an actual crowd of people turning up to watch and film the big moment.
Bet there were people selling snacks, drinks and souvenir posters as well.

On 18th Aug 2018, a 145 tonne transformer left Tilbury docks, went round the M25, its destination the west Weybridge substation in Surrey suburbia.
