Stealing is bad in any form, but doing it from collection boxes for clothing items that are going to charity has to be one of the worst.
That’s why it was incredibly satisfying to see BBC One’s Traffic Cops catching them in the act – all thanks to the efforts of CCTV operators in Luton when this classic piece of police work unfolded a few years ago.

Romanians seen on CCTV at Sainsbury’s stealing from Charity bins.
The CCTV control room call in the Police and the driver is 100% sure the clothes came from a friends house not realising we have CCTV in this day.
When the Romanian driver arrived at the Police station they used a translator over the telephone in which he told the translator ‘I will stick my **** in your face’ which led to him been taken straight to a cell.
