The snooker star John Higgins has been accused of jumping out of a taxi without paying, after telling the driver ‘you’re getting f**k all.’
The four-time world champion was playing in a tournament in Belfast, Northern Ireland when the incident allegedly happened, and the driver has shared photos that appear to show Higgins asleep in his cab.
All of this over a £5 fare? Wow.

Snooker legend John Higgins has been accused of refusing to pay a taxi fare before launching a foul-mouthed rant at the cabbie.
James Crawford claims he picked up the four-time world champion after the Northern Ireland Open tournament in Belfast.
He claims he picked Higgins, 44, up at the city’s Merchant Hotel with the Scot propped up against the railings outside.
They then made the short journey to a nearby Hilton hotel, the Daily Record reports.
James said: “His mate was Scottish too and he told me to keep an eye on John and make sure he was safe. I knew who he was and I was happy to help.”
Pictures have emerged of the Scot asleep in the back of the cab, with taxi driver Crawford claiming he started singing ‘Up the Celts! Up the Celts!’
“He was being really loud so I told him not to sing in the cab.
“He stopped straight away and I thought ‘that was easier than I expected it to be’, but when I when I turned around he was out of it.”
He said: “I told him we’d arrived at his hotel and that the fare was a fiver but he just turned around and said ‘You’re getting f*** all from me.”
He claims Higgings then opened the taxi door and made a run for it as another driver was alerted nearby.
