A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car on the M4 near Swansea.
The collision occurred on the westbound carriageway between junctions 47 and 48 at around 4PM on Saturday afternoon.
The westbound carriageway near Grovesend was closed for five hours while investigations were carried out.
South Wales Police say a grey coloured Audi Q3 collided with a local male who died at the scene.
Any witnesses are being encouraged to contact the police, who are especially interested in dash cam footage and anyone who saw the manner of driving before the accident.
