A van driver was prosecuted after a cyclist confronted him using his mobile phone whilst waiting for the traffic lights to change.
The cyclist reported the incident, which occurred in June 2019 to the Police using an online reporting tool.
The cyclist posted the video to his YouTube channel ‘CyclingMikey’ after receiving the confirmation that the driver had accepted a fixed penalty notice.
The driver received 6 penalty points and £200 fine.
