Two children aged just one and two have died after being left in a hot car in Brisbane, Australia.
According to reports, the two infants were tragically declared dead at the scene after an adult desperately tried to revive them by ‘splashing water on them.’
Back in the UK summer, social media was awash with warnings about the dangers of hot cars for both children and pets.
According to the Daily Mail:
Two little girls have died after being left inside a parked car in 31C heat.
The sisters, aged one and two, were found by their devastated mother outside their home in Logan, south of Brisbane at 1.30pm on Saturday.
According to 9News, the frantic mother carried them inside to splash water on them.
Paramedics raced to the scene and tried to revive the youngsters but they were too late.
Neighbours saw the children’s bodies being carried from their home.
