Dodgy Drivers Content Submission & Licence Terms

These terms apply to videos, images and other material you send to Dodgy Drivers.

These terms explain how Dodgy Drivers may use the material you submit. “Dodgy Drivers”, “we” and “us” mean the Dodgy Drivers website and its publishing channels. “You” means the person submitting the material. “Content” means the video, image or other material you send us. By submitting Content and ticking the acceptance box on the upload form, you agree to these terms for that Content.

1. You keep ownership; we receive a non-exclusive licence

You keep the copyright and ownership of your Content. You give Dodgy Drivers a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, edit, publish, display, distribute and promote it. You may continue to use your Content and give permission to other people to use it.

This licence lets us review and prepare Content for publication, including trimming or cropping it, changing its format, adding captions or commentary, and blurring or obscuring details. We may publish and promote it on our website, video channels, social-media pages, newsletters, press and marketing materials. We may let our hosting, editing and publishing services use it as needed for those purposes.

We may also offer Content to media outlets or other publishers under a non-exclusive licence, including for publication or monetised use. We may receive revenue from that use. We do not take ownership of your Content or grant another party exclusive rights to it.

2. What you confirm when you submit

You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you own the Content or have permission from the rights holder to submit it and give us the licence described above. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for music, footage or other material included in your submission. To the best of your knowledge, the Content does not unlawfully use another person’s material or violate another person’s rights.

Please do not submit material you are not entitled to share. If you later discover a rights or privacy concern, contact us promptly so we can review it.

3. Review, editing and publication

We decide whether to publish a submission; sending it to us does not guarantee publication. We may decline, delay, edit or remove Content. We may make reasonable edits for presentation, safety or privacy, including obscuring identifying details.

4. Monetisation and payment

We may earn revenue from Content through advertising, video-platform revenue, sponsorship, commercial partnerships or non-exclusive licences to publishers. Unless we agree a payment with you in writing before the relevant use, no fee, royalty or other payment is due to you for submitting Content or for uses permitted by these terms.

5. Asking us to stop future use

You can email info@dodgydrivers.co.uk to ask us to stop future use or remove Content from channels we control. Please include a link to the Content and enough information for us to identify it. We will review your request and take reasonable steps to stop future use where practical.

A request cannot undo use that has already taken place or guarantee removal of copies already downloaded, shared or published by other platforms or publishers. A non-exclusive licence already granted to a publisher may continue under its agreed terms. We will not knowingly grant new licences after we have agreed to stop future use.

6. Rights concerns and responsibility

If you learn that you did not have a right or permission you confirmed above, tell us promptly and cooperate while we review the issue. We may pause or remove the Content. You are responsible for reasonable, direct losses caused by a material breach of those rights confirmations, to the extent allowed by law. This does not make you responsible for claims caused by our use outside the permission granted in these terms.

7. Governing law and updates

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This version applies to Content submitted on or after the date shown below. Later versions apply to new submissions after they are posted; earlier submissions remain under the terms accepted when they were sent, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Last updated: 24 October 2026

By ticking the acceptance box and submitting Content, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
